I’m going to admit to you right now that I literally had no idea where Ellsworth, Michigan was until I did this wedding. Now that I’ve been there, I want to go back! I’m telling you some of the nicest wedding venues are tucked away in small towns all over Michigan and A Matter of Taste at Tapawingo is no exception!

We were so worried about rain because scattered showers were in the forecast for the day, but thankfully they held off, for the most part, till after the ceremony. This was another destination wedding for the couple, and you can’t get much more “Michigan” than a ceremony by the lake. So it would have been a real shame if we had to move it. Thankfully most of the rain happened during dinner, when everyone was inside, and then the rest of the party carried on outdoors on the patio and guests were treated to swing dancing lessons!

This was another beautiful wedding for the books and I hope to do more here in the future!
