I try to squeeze in at least a couple of trips to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan at least a couple of times a year, so I was so excited to book this one at Pinewood Lodge! Au Train is just a short drive away from Munising and Pictured Rocks so there are lots of great places to hike, kayak, and go boating nearby! In fact, the couple rented out this resort for the week to have their intimate wedding with close family and friends, and made it into a week long vacation for everyone!

The ceremony was held in the gazebo right outside the lodge, and we were able to do some beautiful portraits outside in the adjacent woods right during golden hour. This resort also sits right on the shores of Lake Superior and is definitely worth checking out if you want to do a small destination wedding vacation!
