I’ve never been to a wedding at Blue Dress Barn in Benton Harbor that hasn’t been absolutely beautiful, and Kelly and Tim’s wedding was no exception! If you like barn venues, this one has to be in my top 5 favorites in the state! Plus, there is a cat that wanders the premises, and I’m kind of a cat person soooooo….

But seriously guys, this place is gorgeous. Kelly and Tim actually live out of state, but found that it was totally worth coming up to Michigan to have their wedding at this amazing venue. Thankfully they had a “first look” scheduled into their timeline, so we were able to spend lots of time taking photos of the two of them, as well as their bridal party before the ceremony even began. Then after the ceremony, we were able to wander the grounds and take advantage of a few more areas prior to dinner.

One thing that made Kelly and Tim’s wedding extra unique was Kelly’s amazing uncle, an Elvis impersonator! After dinner, we were all treated to his performance and everyone was wildly into it and loving it! Guests love these kinds of surprises, and so do photographers 😉 !

I was so honored to be chosen as Kelly and Tim’s photographer, and I loved getting to work with them! I’m looking forward to more weddings like theirs in the future (even if there’s a strong chance I won’t get to see elvis again.. haha!).
