You may or may not know that my business is actually located in Muskegon, Michigan, but my weddings wind up being all over the state! So, I’m always thrilled when someone from the area asks me to photograph their wedding in Downtown Muskegon, since I’m only about 10 minutes from there! When Casey contacted me about her wedding to Casey (yes they are both named Casey… not a typo!) at Century Club, I was more than happy to jump at the opportunity to photograph it!

After doing their engagement session on the windiest day ever, they got married on one of the hottest days in May that I can recall. I want to say it got up close to 90 degrees! Fortunately, they were all good sports about going down to Hackley Park for a little bit of portrait time. Ok, so I convinced them that the shade trees there would make it a bit more bearable… haha.

We were all pretty happy to get back inside though, into the air conditioning, to start the festivities! The wedding ceremony was held in the front portion of the Century Club, while the reception took place in their ballroom. Casey and Casey expressed their shared love of being on their boat and on the lake by decorating the tables with nautical décor and the names of lakeside cities and towns.
