Stunning Destination Wedding Photography at Shoreline Inn, in Muskegon, Michigan: September 7, 2024

I recently had the honor of Karli and Matthew’s wedding day memories in Muskegon, Michigan. Shoreline Inn is one of Muskegon’s most iconic wedding venues, offering stunning views of Muskegon Lake and an elegant lakeside atmosphere that’s perfect for a destination wedding. Karli and Matthew chose Muskegon for its beauty and proximity to many lakes and incredible beaches. Despite the unusually cool and breezy weather of Labor Day weekend, the day was filled with love, laughter, and magical moments that made it truly special. Although it was a bit windy and chilly, we embraced the weather, knowing it was part of what made the day unique and memorable.

Although we embraced the outdoor beauty for some photos by the water’s edge, we also opted for other natural areas for portraits to ensure that we were able to minimize windblown hair. I like to take photos in the most stunning locations, if possible, but the end goal is to make sure that my couples are in great light and look their very best in their photos.

One of the many nice things about Shoreline Inn is that their indoor spaces offer a warm and inviting atmosphere. Couples and their guests can stay right on site, eliminating the hassle of shuttling guests in and out or having them hunt for different locations. Shoreline Inn and The Lake House both offer stunning views of Muskegon Lake and are beautiful locations to not only have your wedding, but to revisit to celebrate anniversaries.
